Everyday, office, travel, water, active
The 5167A is the Patek you can wear to the beach and then to dinner without changing. At 40.8 mm and 8.1 mm thick it is slimmer than any other steel sports watch here, the composite strap is often called the most comfortable rubber made, and the embossed dial pattern hides scuffs. It now runs calibre 26-330 S C behind a sapphire back. The catch is access: retailers usually allocate it to clients who already own other Patek watches.
The thinnest steel sports watch in this tier, on Patek's excellent composite strap.

What owners say
WatchUSeek and RolexForums owners rate the tropical strap as the most comfortable they have worn, though fitting it means cutting it once with little room for error, and the polished clasp scratches. Omega Forums threads describe retailers giving allocations to established clients and pairing them with dress watch purchases.
