Water, everyday, active, travel
Mido rebuilt the Ocean Star for 2026 at 41mm with a 47mm lug to lug, which fixes the main complaint about the older 42.5mm 200C. You get 200m of water resistance, a Swiss automatic with 80 hours of reserve and a Nivachron hairspring, sapphire with coating on both sides, and a clasp with a diver extension and on the fly adjustment. Few Swiss divers under €1,000 come this complete straight out of the box.
A Swiss 200m diver with an 80 hour movement and an adjustable diver clasp for under €1,000.

What owners say
This version only launched in mid 2026, so long term owner feedback is still thin. On WatchUSeek, owners of the earlier Ocean Star 200 and 200C praise the bracelet clasp and the blue dial but say the white day and date discs look weaker on blue and the diver extension can feel sticky at first. Reviewers note a light bezel action and a crown that is a little small.
