The C7 revives Citizen's 1960s Crystal Seven with a sunray dial, applied markers and a seven sided day window at 12. Inside is the Miyota 8200, an automatic that watchmakers know well and can service cheaply, shown through an exhibition back. At 40 mm on a leather strap it moves from office to dinner more easily than a sports automatic. It costs less than an Orient Bambino in Europe and adds a day display, lume and 50 metres of water resistance.
A dressy day date automatic with a seven sided day window, under 200 euros.
