Travel, water, everyday, active

Real travel GMTs, where the local hour hand jumps on its own, usually start well above this tier. Baltic's second generation Aquascaphe GMT moves to the Miyota 9075 to get exactly that, and it also doubles the water resistance to 200m and adds crown guards while cutting the price. The 39.5mm case with a 47mm lug to lug keeps it wearable on smaller wrists, and the sapphire bezel insert will not fade.

A true flyer GMT with a sapphire bezel and 200m rating for around €1,000 including VAT.

What owners say

The MK II only shipped in autumn 2026, so these are owner reports on the first generation Aquascaphe GMT plus launch reactions. MK I owners on WatchUSeek and The Dive Watch Connection praised its size, finishing and Baltic's bracelet sizing, with one getting a +2 timegrapher printout, but the main gripes were the caller GMT movement at a higher price, modest lume and an early batch of faulty casebacks that Baltic replaced. Forum reaction to the MK II welcomes the true GMT and lower price.

Some figures could not be verified: Specs verified on Baltic's page and Monochrome, but the watch launched in September 2026 so there is no owner track record; forum sources cover the first generation and launch reactions. Bezel click count conflicts (Baltic 48, Monochrome 24), so omitted. EUR price is Baltic's pre tax figure plus 20% French VAT.
